An English silver antique wine jug with an interesting American inscription from the packet ship Napoleon of New York. Given to the captain of the ship by the passengers. Made by Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard, London 1828 and presented in 1829. Hand chased leaves and ornate handle with a cast floral finial.
