A large impressive coin silver hand decorated fruit scoop by Schohay and Ludwig of Philadelphia circa 1860 in excellent condition. Hand chased and engraved deep bowl with fruit and a large applied bunch of grapes with a leaf on the engraved handle. Twist handle. Fully marked and also monogrammed on the handle. Length: 10"

Bands of gadrooning on the side of the pot, on the lid and the rim of the top. The lid hinges to open. Lightly monogrammed on the side with a script monogram. Four cast paw feet on a pedestal base.
