A hand made sterling pitcher with a hinged lid, rosewood finial and handle by Antonio Pineda of Mexico. An impressive modern design with a concave section adjacent to the handle to accommodate a fist when holding the pitcher. Antonio Pineda was a modernist silversmith who worked in Taxco and manufactured quality silver until his death in 1990 at the age of 90. The mark on the base dates the piece after 1953.

A sterling silver sauceboat by Tiffany & Co dated with the large M mark 1875-1891. Excellent condition and high quality chasing of flowers and leaves. A finely hand chased sterling silver pitcher, circa 1880 in pristine condition. The handle is hand decorated with applied vines. The bottom of the pitcher is chased with acanthus leaves. Retailed by J E Caldwell of Philadelphia but experience in looking at the style and detail of the chasing suggests that this is the work of Peter Krider of Philadelphia, Pa. Weight: 30.55 troy oz.
