T8775 Dominick & Haff Tea Caddy

An antique 1880s hand hammered tea caddy by Dominick & Haff of New York in pristine condition with applied mixed metals insects and branches in copper and other metals. The copper bug is applied over an engraved spider web. There is a copper salamander on the pull off lid. marked with the Dominick & Haff logo, sterling and with the date 1880 in the mark. The butterfly wings are decorated with inlaid silver lines and spots.
