H5646 English Silver Rowing Cup by Mappin and Webb

An amusing English silver trophy goblet with a cast fish wrapped around the base. The cup engraved with the crest of the Wintersdorf Rowing Club in Southport and the names of various winners with dates around 1894. The fitted box in outstanding condition with the original working key and papers including a postcard, newspaper cuttings and the regatta brochures with notations from the races.
