A pair of large impressive English silver compotes each with four cast and applied figures on the pedestal base. Hand chased floral decoration on the canopies and the bases. Each has heraldic crest bolted to the base. Never monogrammed. Weight: 57.75 troy ounces. Height: 7 1/2". London 1875. Maker Alexander Macrae.
