H979 Scottish Silver Carafe

Edinburgh 1859

An antique sterling silver lidded carafe by James McKay of Edinburgh hallmarked 1859. Presented in 1860 and inscribed in the cartouche on the front of the carafe. Hand chased with leaves and applied with leaves around the handle which is a naturalistic branch form.

Excellent condition.
