RH4606 S Kirk and Son 925/1000 Compotes

A massive pair of Kirk sterling silver compotes with the incredible weight of 142.25 troy ounces combined. The techniques include high relief landscape chasing of castles, cottages and animals and an applied naturalistic border of branches with fruit. The addition of four clusters of fruit in four corners add extra three dimensional depth. Pristine unpolished condition and patina. Never monogrammed. Height: 6 1/4". Diameter 12" and 5" at the base. Marked S Kirk and Son Co 925/1000 2359. Circa 1910. These are the best pieces of Kirk we have seen in our 33 years of experience.
