N4906 Gerald Benney Silver and 18K Gold Box

A Gerald Benney sterling silver and 18K long textured box with hinged lid. The silver box has gold diamond shaped inserts in a very modern style. Gerald Benney was an important silversmith in the 1960s and held royal warrants to four royal personages at one time. This piece is hallmarked 1966, has three compartments inside and is lined with shagreen leather.
