N5146 Coin Silver Salts with Cast Fish Bases ball Black and Co Ca 1860

A pair of fine quality coin silver salts by Ball Black and Co of New York. The bases are made to resemble waves and the fish and nautilus shells are cast and assembled with a thread running through and the original nuts holding them all together. Height: 2 1/2" Gold washed interior. Hand chased detail on the exterior of the shells. Weight: 11 troy oz.
