RH153 Rare and Important Tiffany Japonesque Sterling Vase

Circa 1870

A Tiffany antique sterling silver rectangular shaped vase with applied plaques mounted with silver insects including bees and a dragon fly. The body has two applied bands of decoration and applied bamboo and cherry blossoms. There is an engraved monogram on the front of the vase.

The Tiffany mark on the base dates the vase between 1870-1874.
