9842 Gorham Mixed Metal Sterling Centerpiece Bowl

Circa 1880

An unusual Gorham Triangular Centerpiece mixed metal bowl with hand hammered surfaces and applied Copper detail. There is a very three dimensional salamander and two large birds on the corners. The bases have cast applied Japanese influenced legs, Perfect condition with bold gold washed interior.. Marked on the base with the Gorham logo and date letter for 1880. There are three applied handles on the sides.
