9734 Rare Gorham Three Dimensional Applied Sterling Pitcher

A rare hand hammered Gorham antique sterling pitcher with applied three dimensional roses and leaves with insect holes in them. The applied work is on both sides with the reverse having a branch with applied copper berries. Detail on the leaves is quite remarkable. The hammering is uniform and is interrupted by an applied decorative die rolled band at the junction of the neck and the bottom of the pitcher. Excellent unpolished condition. never monogrammed.
