H5039 Massive Antique American Sterling Bowl with original silver plate liner.

A large impressive hand made antique sterling bowl circa 1890 in excellent condition with overlapping circles made of wire making up the sides of the bowl. There are numerous applied cast grapes at intervals. This decoration applies to the band on the pedestal base and the side of the bowl. The top of the bowl is finished with a naturalistic vine border with applied grapes at intervals. Weight: 75 troy ounces. Diameter: 14 1/2". Height: 7 3/4". Original silver plated liner with some wear on the bottom. The sterling bowl is in excellent condition and can be used with or without the liner. Monogrammed, No maker's mark.
