An antique oval 11 ounce silver Kirk oval tureen with large cast bird finial on a footed stand with original burner. The chasing depicts wild game being hunted with dogs and other wild animals on the reverse. Ornately cast feet support the heavy base and burner. An unusual example with a large presence in the form of a chafing dish.
