H9522 Gorham Coin Silver Sugar Basket

Circa 1859

A covered engine turned Gorham coin silver sugar basket with swing handle engraved with monograms on both sides and an inscription on the base. In pristine condition with four cast applied cast feet and applied silver balls on the handle and rim of the bottom half. Dated 1859. Gold washed interior. Two of the catouches have a fisherman scene engraved.
