H024 Gorham Special Order Chased & Hammered Set

A five piece Gorham special order hand hammered and chased centerpiece bowl with four compotes, two larger compotes and two smaller. Marked with a rectangle around the production number indicating special order and monogrammed at the center of each piece. Marked with the retailer stamp of Theodore Starr of New York, the largest piece has the Starr logo instead of the Gorham logo. The floral chasing is executed against a background of fine hand hammering in a martele style. Combined weight 137.2 troy oz.

Length of centerpiece bowl 16" by 12 1/2"; height 12 1/2".

Larger pair of compotes diameter 9 1/2"; height 5"; smaller pair of compotes diameter 7"; height 4".
