A large antique sterling footed engraved square salver retailed by J E Caldwell with finely engraved central field and a monogram in the cartouche at the center. The floral repousse band bordering the salver is very high relief and shows crisp detail. Four applied ball and claw feet. Marked J E Caldwell and sterling at the opposite end.
