Whiting (attributed to) Cattail Serving Spoon

A sterling silver serving spoon with gold washed satin bowl attributed to Whiting and marked sterling and 8 with three dimensional cattail on the top of the handle. The spoon is in good condition. There are a few tiny dings in the bowl. Circa 1870
