A large impressive floral hand hammered pitcher by Gorham in the Martele series. The pitcher dates from September 15th 1908 and is manufactured in the .9584 standard. Chased by George W Sauthof. Very large poppies and crisp chasing of other flowers and leaves. The spout is in the form of a large tropical leaf with the veins arranged in a symmetrical fan shape. Never monogrammed. Excellent condition. Weight: 44 troy oz. Height: 9 1/4"
