An large antique sterling silver cheese scoop by William Gale, circa 1865. The bowl and handle are ornately engraved and there is an applied Roman medallion on the top of the handle. Lightly engraved on the reverse. Pristine condition. Never monogrammed. Length: 9 1/8". Weight: 2.55 troy ounces.
