gorham acid etched sterling tea caddy

T4043 Gorham Sterling Tea Caddy Circa 1890

An unusual lantern shaped tea caddy by Gorham in the form of a lantern with a ring at the top of the pull off lid. The sides are acid etched with leaves. There are four cast applied ornamental finials at the corners. Very heavy solid construction. The acid etched decoration covers the entire caddy including the lid. Monogrammed.
