RH5139 Tiffany Antique Sterling Vase With Applied Japanese Plaques A rare Tiffany antique sterling silver vase in the Japanese style with two applied plaques each with silver insects applied. Circa 1880. These plaques were part of a group supplied to Edward Moore by Christopher Dresser after having been purchased in Japan on his trip. The front is monogrammed with a large engraved Japanese style monogram. The border and floral decoration is applied including a bamboo plant on the front of the vase. Height: 23.3 troy ounces.
