Italian Modernist Sterling and Lapis Lazuli Tea Set on Tray

A remarkable sterling 925 silver Italian moderne tea set comprising a 26 1/2" tray with lapis handles, a double ended two spout tea pot with removable lid and lapid handles 15 1/2" long, a lapis handle double spout cream jug (4 3/4" tall) and an elongated covered sugar measuring 7" long. Combined weight including lapis 123 oz troy. The massive lapis handles are two sided, mounted on the sterling frames with pins. Circa 1960s.
