RH6788 Silver Gilt Bensabott Box with Hardstone Elephants

An antique sterling gold washed table box with hand chased floral work and applied carnelian hardstone elephants on the sides of the box and a larger elephant finial on the hinged lid. 5 3/4" by 3 1/2" by3 1/2" tall to the finial. The box is 1 3/4" deep. The interior is ebony wood lined. Manufactured by the Bensabott Company of Chicago.
