The inside steel bar that would support the hinged lid and provide a spring has snapped off and needs to be replaced. Otherwise perfect condition with no dents.

Gorham Sterling Souvenir Spoon of Florida Interest

A heavy deep bowl souvenir spoon in sterling by Gorham with an Indian head on the reverse. The interior of the bowl depicts the Cape Florida Lighthouse The lighthouse was attacked by Seminole Indians in 1836 hence the association of the Indian head on the reverse of the bowl and the inscription on the back of the handle. The handle is embossed with the words "Miami Biscayne Bay Florida." Excellent condition. Retailed by Greenleaf and Crosby Co. Length 5 1/2".
