A rare Shiebler sterling silver bon bon spoon with plique a jour enamel decoration measuring 5 1/2". The handle has a multi dimensional reticulated circular finial filled with Venetian turquoise and green plique a jour on the front side of the finial. The bowl measuring 2" in diameter is filled with plique a jour enamel in exquisite vivid colors with a red tudor rose at the center. There is an original overall gold wash on the surface of the silver.
