American Sterling Gold Washed Lorgnette Circa 1900

A pierced sterling lorgnette with a gold washed finish measuring 4 1/2" long. Marked sterling with an unlisted maker. The lorgnette opens up with the release of a catch on the handle. The opening spring is not in working order but after opening the eye glasses out of the case, the spectacles open up and stay in position tightly without drooping. The spring to open the two halves of the eye glasses is perfect and works properly.
