N4777 Antique Silver Cigar Box Humidor by Simons

A rare little humidor moisturizer in the shape of a cigar with sponge inserts through two holes. Water is placed in these holes into the sponge to keep a cigar box moist. The piece would be placed into the cigar box with the cigars. Simons was a premium manufacturer of smalls in Philadelphia. This piece dates around 1890 and it has a patent pending mark. Original unpolished condition. Great item for the cigar enthusiast. Length: 4 5/8"
