N3979 Gorham Sterling Salt and Butter Pat Set in Original Box Ca 1870

An antique silver open salt set comprising 9 sterling silver salts and six spoons. The salts have a basket weave construction around the sides and measure 1 1/2" in diameter. The 9 butter pats are plain in the center and have a basket weave border. Diameter: 3" Dated C for 1870 and all housed in the original fitted velvet, satin and leather case. Retailed by Kirkpatrick of New York. Some salt pitting.
