N4149 Unusual Frank Whiting Match Safe

A rather unusual match safe by Frank Whiting with tromp l'oeil decoration on both sides and a textured crazed surface. Applied monogrammed plaque on one side. Marked on the lip. 2 5/8" by 1 5/8". The inside steel bar that would support the hinged lid and provide a spring has snapped off and needs to be replaced. Otherwise perfect condition with no dents.
