German 800 silver Ethrog Box

A German 800 silver ethrog box marked with the half moon, crown and 800 mark on the base. The box opens on a hinge and has a gilded interior. There is a stem on the side of the box with naturalistic detail. The surface of the box is chased with lines and ridges and engraved with small circles for added detail and dimension. Length 6 3/4". Height: 3 1/2". Weight: 8.7 troy ounces. Circa 1900
