An unusual quality English silver match safe with recessed hinge and engraved sides. Monogrammed on the front of the safe and with the original matches inside. The vesta is 3/8" deep, unusally deep and also exceptionally well engraved. 2" by 1 3/8" by 3/8". Birmingham 1890s.
