5439 Gorham Mixed Metal Trompe L'oeil Dish with Crab

A sterling silver dish by Gorham hand hammered and shaped like fabric with folds. A large applied copper crab applied to the inside of the bowl. Dimensions 4 1/2" by 4 1/2"; crab 2" wide. Fully marked on reverse dated for 1882. Weight 4.35 oz troy.
