C7763 Coin Silver Tea Service
An unusual square shaped coin silver four piece tea service on cast ball and claw feet with lion faces at the top of the feet. Each piece of the tea set has hand chased band inserted into the body with grapes and vine leaves. The covered pieces have a ram finial. The bottom halves of the pieces are hand hammered and are lobed. Maker W Thomson New York.
Circa 1830.
Weight 80 troy ounces.
