A Tiffany antique coin silver butter dish with the Tiffany & Company mark of 1848-1852 together with the Gothic M. Raised on three hoof feet with a pie crest edge. The dome is hand chased with a Persian motif and monogrammed SJ. The interior liner is pierced with a star. Excellent condition. with minimal wear. Diameter 6 3/8". Height 5 1/2" to the ornate finial. Weight 19.55 troy ounces.
