A Swiss Art Nouveau silver tankard with hinged lid and standing lion holding a shield as the finial and naturalistic branch handle extending onto the body in the form of chased vines and leaves on the body of the tankard. Applied cast band indicating that this was a shooting trophy for a Swiss canton 'Winterthur schutzenies kantonalen zürcherisches 1902.' Marked with Swiss hallmarks and 800 on the base and 800.
