H3346 Shiebler Etruscan Pattern Sugar and Creamer

An unusual matching sterling sugar and creamer by George Shiebler, circa 1880, dated October 1885. Hammered surface with Greek medallions struck on the rims. The handles have a woven tromp l' oeil appearance. There is a hand engraved band of decoration around the circumference of each piece. The bases are also hand hammered. Combine weight: 15.55 troy ounces. Creamer: 3 1/2". Sugar: 3 1/4" and 6 1/8" across the handles.
