H4529 Jacobi and Jenkins Hand Chased Oval Tray

A large oval hand chased and engraved tray by Jacobi and Jenkins of Baltimore with a 2" ornate band of high relief chased flowers including chrysanthemums, daisies, roses, etc. against a stippled background. The center section is hand engraved with a diapered pattern and a three letter block engraved monogram in a cartouche surrounded by an engraved wreath. Weight 28.35 troy ounces. Length 16 1/4" by 12'; inside dimensions: 11" by 7".
