H6578 Massive Dominick & Haff Sterling Compote, circa 1903

A heavy sterling silver footed compote by Dominick & Haff with an ornate border of applied flowers, leaves berries and buds onto an open basket weave. The rim of the base is also decorated with applied flowers and leaves. The interior section is monogrammed GR. Marked with the Dominick & Haff logo and dated 1903, Sterling, 10 inches, 2015 and the retailer, Spaulding & Co. Height 4 1/2"; interior diameter 6"; weight 38.65 troy ounces.
