H6728 Chinese Silver Antique Centerpiece

A fine quality ovoid Chinese Export silver centerpiece bowl by Wang Hing with two exquisitely detailed applied dragon handles on the sides. Finely chased pedestal base and most importantly the decoration on the exterior of the bowl is that of hand chased dragons, chrysanthemums, clouds and leaves against a micro stippled background. Incorporated in the design on each side are two plain palette shaped cartouches which have never been monogrammed. The interior is hand hammered and forms the interior of the double skinned bowl. Applied oval plaque on the base covering the pedestal bearing the mark WH 90 as picured. Length 11 3/4" across the handles; bowl 8" x 4 1/4"; weight 27.10 troy ounces.
