A pair of finely chased oval trays with naturalistic double loop handles on each end. The oval midsection is diapered and has a script monogram surrounded by a hand engraved floral wreath. Circa 1880 and retailed by J E Caldwell of Philadelphia. Combined weight: 41.4 troy oz. Length: 15" across handles by 8 1/2". Mounted on an applied oval rim base.
