H4204 Antique American Sterling Silver Basket, circa 1890

A sterling silver basket with hand engraved and pierced decoration. Ornate applied border and swing handle. Monogrammed in the center of the bowl. There are four applied feet. Dimensions: 10" by 8" by 3"; weight 21.75 troy ounces. Marked sterling and the number 2219. This pattern and this basket in particular was usually made by Frank Smith for retail by Tiffany & Co.
