EX4000 Unusual Shiebler Sterling Silver Salad Set Circa 1880

A rare sterling silver salad set with gold washed bowl and tines in pristine condition. Both handles have sterling silver "rope" wrapped around the length of the middle. The terminals have three dimensional leaves on a fretwork background visible on front and back. The bowls have applied gold washed swags and garlands with a female face in the center.

Length: Spoon 11 1/2" and fork: 11"

Combined weight: 8.75 troy ounces.
