Punch Ladle

A Gorham sterling silver antique punch
ladle dated 1889. The naturalistic two branch
handle has cast and applied vines and leaves
with grapes from the edge of the gold washed
bowl to the tip of the handle. There is a cast
figure of Bacchus holding a cup of wine on
the terminal with his legs protruding through
the branch. There is an 1890 presentation
inscribed on the edge of the bowl.
