Important Schultz and Fischer Cup and Plate

A superb cup and plate with the finest engraving, chasing and hammering imaginable. The handle of the cup is cast with the head of a dog facing outward. Parcel gilted decoration includes a band of medallions around the base of the cup depicting many symbols in great detail. There are applied lily pads on the side of the cup, and an applied scroll on the other side with an engraved presentation. The 7 1/4" diameter plate is inscribed on the reverse and has a large dog engraved in the center with the finest detail. Cup 4" 9.3 troy oz. Plate: 7 1/4" 7.3 troy oz.
