RH 4273 American Sterling Enamel and Jade Vase

An antique sterling silver vase in the Chinese style by the Mt Vernon Company of Mt Vernon, New York. The applied blossoms have multi- colored pastel enamel leaves and flowers. The pierced base and handle have a Chinese design and there are two circular jade stone rings hanging from each handle. Height: 10". Weight: 15.25 troy ounces. Quality work from a small manufacturer with unusual techniques. Circa 1910. Marked sterling in addition to all the Mt Vernon markings
