H5043 Kennard & Jenks Boston Repousse Butter Dish with Cows

An antique sterling silver repousse butter dish with original liner and hand chased cover. The domed lid has an applied full figured cow forming the finial and hand chased flowers surrounding a circular cartouche with no monogram. The base has four applied hoofed feet and two cow heads as handles. Diameter 5 1/4"; height 6" to the cow finial; weight 20.45 ozt. Maker is Kennard of Boston.
