Six Gorham Sterling Egyptian style Oversize oyster Forks

A rare set of six different finely crafted sterling silver oyster forks with engraved tines in the Bric-a-Brac pattern. Length 6". The motifs include mixed metals and Egyptian inscriptions on the square terminal, a birds balancing a ball, geese and a pharaoh's head. All are hand finished with applied wire and satin finished engraved tines. These are labeled Bric-A-Brac oyster forks c1881 in the Gorham archives.
