dominick and haff pitcher with ducks

RH4651 Dominick and Haff Sterling Pitcher Ca 1881

A large antique silver sterling pitcher by Dominick and Haff with an ornate handle. There is a band of hand chased decoration on the lower half of the pitcher depicting ducks swimming through waves of water and a stippled area below giving dimension to the pitcher. The ducks are shown in stages of swimming with heads above, below the water and nibbling at the feathers.
